Romane Lacanal is a French painter whose work is distinguished by a vibrant and emotive approach to the female figure. Since the age of three, she has developed a passion for painting, a vocation that she has nurtured through a career marked by varied influences, ranging from expressionism to abstract figuration.
Trained in applied arts, Romane first turned to design, becoming a Shop Designer, while continuing to cultivate her love for painting. In 2022, she took a new step by founding her own online gallery, Galerie Lacanal, a virtual space where her creations come to life and are accessible to an international audience.
Romane Lacanal’s works are visual refuges where she explores profound themes such as introspection, pain and healing. Each painting invites an emotional journey, reconciling the viewer with their own feelings and offering moments of peace and rebirth. His artistic approach is influenced by masters such as Vincent van Gogh, who placed humans and the soul at the center of his work.
